The Information Security Office (ISO) orchestrates efforts and provides services to safeguard personal and institutional data. The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) promotes a culture of shared responsibility where the office works collaboratively with departments throughout the University to achieve institution-wide awareness and education on the protection of information assets.
Services offered by the unit are designed to assist the University community by monitoring, analyzing, and forecasting threats to information assets, advising on risk management and on contracts related to data security, providing in-person and online education, consulting on incident management, and developing and managing University policies, procedures, and standards related to information security.
